Troubles on the Stabilizer Section

There are different types of troubles occurs due to fault in the power supply section. Some of them are given below:

      1. No B+ Voltage:

Troubles that can cause no B+ voltage include an open diode in rectifier circuit, an open filter choke or resistor and shorted filter capacitor. The capacitor becomes open or practically open with reduced capacitance. As a result the  poor regulation of the B+ voltage for the load & excessive hum.

   2. Blooming:

This term describes a picture that increases in size, defocusing in white areas as the brightness is increased. A common cause of blooming is a weak high voltage rectifier, which has excessive internal resistance.

 3. Breathing:

This term refers to blooming at a slow regular rate. The size of both the raster and picture changes with variations in the high voltage. The cause is usually trouble in the high voltage regulation.

    4. Corona and Arcing:

A point a high potential can ionize the surrounding air to produce a visible corona effect, which is light blue in color. The corona causes loss of power and eventual insulation breakdown with arcing. To minimize corona, it is important to eliminate sharp edges in the wiring. Also all soldered joints must be smooth and round. To minimize arcing, all high voltage connections must be well separated from the chassis.

  1. We offer car top racks that will allow many vehicles to have a roof rack when normally they wouldn't. It is worth noting that the vast majority of our racks, carriers, bags, etc. will typically mount utilizing a vehicle's existing vertical and/or cross bars. We encourage our customers to contact our sales staff via the online form or via phone to address any questions that pertain to the mounting of the racks
